Meet Cheri Chichizola!

Tell us a little about yourself!

I’m Cheri Chichizola – a lifestyle Family Photographer based out of Roseville, California. Married to my soulmate and we have two beautiful girls who are 8 and 5.

What do you specialize in? What made you want to focus on that specialty/specialties?

I specialize in families. I wanted to focus on families because I love capturing that special bond between the family members, the changing relationships between siblings, the little things like the size of the kids hands (that won’t be the same next year), the personalities. As I’m capturing these families I pray they will feel all the same emotions that I’m feeling when they see the images. I want them to remember the memories we made during their sessions, the fun and the giggles.

How did you first get started in photography?

I was medically retired as a police officer and used my vacation payout to buy my very first DSLR camera. That was 11 years ago. It took me almost 9 years before moving my passion to an actual profession.
