Meet Dulce Baby Studios

I’m Nichole, owner of Dulce Baby Studios. A Florida girl that has made Texas her home. I live in deep South Texas, along the Texas/Mexico border…can you say, Tacos! I’ve been married for 10 years and am mom to 2 boys, ages 6 & 9.. A Few of my favorite things: Chick Flicks, a huge fan of the TV show Friends and am often found making Friends references, the outdoors and searching for vintage treasures.



What do you specialize in? What made you want to focus on that specialty/specialties?

I specialize in Maternity, Newborn and Baby’s First Year. I decided to specialize in Babies first year because I love babies so much! After I became a mom, something in me awakened and brought out my sheer love of babies. I was initially going to pursue a career as a doula or lactation consultant, but was encouraged by friends and family to marry my love of photography and babies by starting a newborn studio. So I did!

How did you first get started in photography?

I’ve always loved photography and dabbled quite a bit in high school and college. When my boys were a bit older, I was encouraged to marry my love of photography and babies by starting a newborn studio.



How has using Iris impacted your business?

I could not live without Iris! Seriously, it has made my hectic life more streamlined and manageable. I don’t even think I could function without it. On the rare occasion that the site is under construction, my life comes to a halt, that’s how much I rely on it. It has been instrumental in organizing my business, and workflow and has thus allowed me to grow my business to full time.



What are your future goals for you business? What are you looking forward to?

With enthusiasm, I anticipate continuing to craft a comprehensive experience for my clients and their families. My desire is to forge a connection so strong that they can’t help but choose me time and again for their photography needs, and feel inspired to refer their friends. Transitioning to my long-term aspirations, my ultimate dream is to become a landowner. By achieving this, I would be able to provide an exceptional outdoor area as an integral part of my commercial studio space.



Fun facts:

1. I could watch Friends over and over again….and laugh every time! It never gets old.
2. I can cross one eye and keep the other straight. Creepy! lol.
3. Not a morning person at all, but I love nights. I love everything about nighttime…the quiet, the moon and stars, the creativity.
4. If I could live anywhere, it would be in the mountains. If I could visit anywhere, it would be the English countryside….hello Jane Austen!
