Tell us a little about yourself!


I am a self-taught photographer from Southeastern Indiana. My passion for photography started at a young age and has continued to only grow stronger as I have had children of my own and built a business. I was raised on a farm and love my country life with my three daughters and husband.

What do you specialize in? What made you want to focus on that specialty/specialties?


Maternity, newborn, family, boudoir

How did you first get started in photography?


I have always loved photography, but once I had my own kids my passion really grew.

How has using Iris impacted your business?


I have been using Iris for 18 months. I can’t imagine doing business without it! It keeps me so organized and professional. Everything is in one spot and so easy to find! My favorite feature are the questionnaires! I can easily glance at their form right before meeting them and make them feel like I know them as soon as they get out of the car.

What are your future goals for your business? What are you looking forward to?


I would love to be a well known photographer who people travel far for and I would love to be known for mentoring!

 

If you could go back to when you first started in photography, what advice would you give yourself?


Keep practicing! Shoot daily and never give up!
